About this Project

As part of our Civil Asset Maintenance framework, WCS were called on New Year’s Day to inspect and assess accidental damage to the road bridge at Shoreditch High Street caused by excavations at street level.

In collaboration with our clients J. Murphy & Sons Ltd. We first produced a scheme of temporary works to stabilize the structure and ensure no debris fell on the track and proceeded with design on permanent repairs after presenting options to all stakeholders.

This technically and logistically challenging project was completed in good time and to an extremely high standard, ensuring that both the railway and highway above were back in operation quickly and safely.
