About this Project

We are proud to again be supporting UK Power Networks Services (UKPNS) for a new Private Wire Network and intake substation, required as part of an innovative scheme to provide charging for Westminster City Council’s street cleansing and waste collection fleet in Lewisham.

 The fleet of electric refuse collection vehicles (eRCV), vans, cages, and sweepers (among others) will all be powered by energy produced from the unrecyclable waste they collect, providing a sustainable solution to improving our air quality.
