Dudgeon & Sheringham Shoal – FEED Study

WCS is assisting Hitachi Energy with crucial civil engineering expertise for the construction of a new onshore substation development near to the existing 400kV National Grid substation at Norwich main, Norfolk. The project is part of a proposed major expansion to the offshore windfarm capacity at Dudgeon & Sheringham Shoal.

We produced a detailed Design Intent Document (DID) as part of our ongoing support to the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) study for the civils aspects of the bid, helping our client to identify and describe the full extent of the civil engineering works packages, mitigating potential risks, and adding value to the design process.
