Welborne Garden Village

WCS has been appointed by Buckland Development Ltd to provide the civil engineering design for a new 132kV substation that will power this ambitious new Garden Village development on the south coast.

As with a new town, this all-in-one community will need power for everything from shops, schools, factories, and other places of work, as well as thousands of new homes.

Our scope is to provide a complete civil engineering design service, from overseeing surveys and ground investigations, through concept development and on to detailed design of the substation.
